Reconnect a heart-rate sensor
Open Settings, disconnect the current sensor if needed, then choose Find Bluetooth Heart Rate Sensor. Confirm the sensor is awake and not connected exclusively to another app.
Use WHOOP broadcast
Enable Heart Rate Broadcast from WHOOP, keep it nearby, and scan from EffortPilot. EffortPilot uses the standard Bluetooth broadcast and does not require your WHOOP account credentials.
Hear cues over music
Use the speaker control on the main or live screen, then choose tones or a coach voice in Settings. Check iPhone volume and your headphone output if cues are enabled but silent.
Restore EffortPilot Pro
Open Settings, choose EffortPilot Pro, then Restore Purchase while signed in to the Apple Account that made the original purchase.
Live Activity still visible?
End the active EffortPilot session from the app. EffortPilot is designed to keep only one workout Live Activity active. If iOS continues to show an old activity, reopen EffortPilot once and end the session, then restart the iPhone if the system UI has not refreshed.
Training safety
EffortPilot is not a medical device. Stop exercising and seek appropriate help if you feel unwell. A missing, delayed, or surprising sensor value should never override how you feel.
