EffortPilot does not require an account, run ads, or send your heart-rate and workout history to an EffortPilot server.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how the EffortPilot iOS app and this website handle information. EffortPilot is a fitness guidance tool. It is not a medical device or medical service.
Information processed by the app
Bluetooth heart-rate data
When you connect a compatible Bluetooth heart-rate sensor, EffortPilot processes its live heart-rate broadcast on your iPhone to calculate and display training cues. This live signal is not uploaded to an EffortPilot server.
Profiles and session history
Your training profile, preferences, completed session summaries, and rep history are stored locally on your device. EffortPilot does not require a cloud account.
Apple Health
If you choose to enable Health access, EffortPilot may read the resting heart-rate information you authorize and write completed workout information you authorize. Apple Health permissions are optional, can be changed in iOS Settings, and are governed by Apple’s protections. Health data is used only to provide the app’s health and fitness features. It is not used for advertising.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and restoration. EffortPilot receives entitlement status from StoreKit so it can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Website data
This website is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process limited technical information such as IP address, request time, device or browser information, and security events to deliver and protect the site. The EffortPilot site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Sharing and exports
EffortPilot shares information only when you initiate an action, such as exporting a recovery card through the iOS share sheet, or when required by law. Content you choose to share is handled by the destination you select.
Retention and deletion
Local app information remains on your device until you delete it through available app controls or remove the app. Information written to Apple Health remains subject to your Apple Health settings and deletion controls. Removing EffortPilot does not automatically remove data previously written to Apple Health.
Children
EffortPilot is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Minors should use fitness guidance only with appropriate permission and supervision.
Security
EffortPilot minimizes transmitted data by keeping core fitness processing on device. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, but we use platform protections and limit the information handled.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is published.
Contact
Privacy and support contact details will be published on the EffortPilot support page before App Store release.
